11 Days – 11 Nights:
Day One 1
The Sinners Pay For The Mistake


Walkthrough for the day:
Gunshots echo throughout the entire country alongside the screams of the dying and terrified people. Police officers try to take control back for the city's in which they are. The army is also trying to help but nothing is working. Herds of zombies come and come and there is no sign of them stopping. And Bulgaria burns as other countries start to crumble upon the zombie apocalypse.



Bulgaria/Dawn/At the border with Greece/Time of the day 05:00

Soldiers are trying to stop the coming people from crossing the border with Greece. There are lots of people who try to pass but some of them are captured or put down by the soldiers of NATO. Some actually manage to pass through them but at the other side the Greece soldiers are waiting for them, and again they are captured or put down. Then one soldier spots something in the distance.

Soldier:
Oh my God, Commander Kirsten come and take a look at this.

Commander Kirsten:
What is it, I am having a conversation with the "Amber" company, can it wait?

Soldier:
I am afraid that it can't wait, you need to see it now sir it's very important!


The commander goes to the watch tower and takes the binoculars and he starts to look to where the soldier is pointing.

Commander Kirsten:
Oh my God, it reached us.
[he puts down the binoculars and shouts]
Contact the commanders at each border and ask them how things are looking, now!

Four soldiers go to the radio station room and try to contact the remaining commanders on each border.

Soldier #1:
This is Angelo Anselmo speaking from the border of Greece, trying to contact with commander Illia Krumov from the Macedonian border, does anyone hear me!?

Soldier #2:
This is Hektor Hetake speaking from the Greece border, trying to contact with commander Krasimir Hristov from the Serbia border, does anyone hear me?

Soldier #3:
This is Hiako Akiwara speaking from the Greece border, trying to contact with commander Martin Vladov from the Romania border, does anyone hear me?


Those transitions go one for about five minutes with only static noises and from time to time the screams of the people fighting are heard alongside the gunshots and the roar of the zombies who pass near the radio station. And nothing more is heard than just empty static sound. All the soldiers nod their heads and the other soldier that was with them goes outside the radio station room and goes to the watch tower.

Soldier #4:
Commander Kirsten, there hasn't been any response to our calls. We assume all of them have lost the fight and probably they are dead, what should we do?

Commander Kirsten:
What they did! Prepare to defend the border at all cost. Assemble all our weapons and contact with the other side of the border and tell the Greek soldiers that they should let people cross and to come aid us in the battle that will begin shortly.

Soldier #4:
Yes sir.
[he then turns and shouts to all the soldiers]
You heard the commander, move your asses and do as ordered!

All of the soldiers start to run and do as the commander said and the civilian people started to run in panic towards Greece. While they run towards for now safety the Greek soldiers march towards the upcoming herd. The fight begins and the soldiers lunch an attack of the upcoming herd. They fire with rocket launchers and regular automatic guns. The sound of splitting bodies echoes across the border and the surroundings.


Inside the "Alliance facility" of the "Amber" company under Pleven/Noon/Time of the day 12:15

All of the generals are sitting together around the table which is full of food and drinks. Some of them have huge grin's on their faces, others don't care what happens only Alice is worried about what happens.


General Alice:
Aren't we going to do something?

General Commander Daichi Goro:
Do what General Alice?

General Alice:
What I want to say aren't we going to help them, they are just dying in front of our eyes.

General Commander Siena Kuchnik:
It's their problem now, not ours at all.

General Alice:
But we created the virus, we let it loose!

General Commander Denislav Hristov:
And what do you suggest my dear Alice!? What do you want us to do, hand them the way for salvation, is that it?

General Alice:
We at least can tell them how to reverse the process so that they can live, at least give them that chance.

General Commander Denislav Hristov:
You want me, no you want us to give them the way to reverse the infection process that we worked so long to create.

General Alice:
And what you did was a great virus that has an easy way of being stopped, I will tell this to the world.

General Commander Siena Kuchnik:
Was that supposed to be some kind of a warning shot against us, the ones who saved you and adopted you? We gave you the world and what do you do in return you want to betray your family?  

General Commander Daichi Goro:
Let her do it. It's clear that she no longer wants to be among the side of the living. So who are we to stop her do what her heart desires the most: Life for the sinners!

General Rain Colson:
Life for those who make life fade towards the darkness of each grave!

General Vladislav Hristov:
The ones who murder for fun and laugh at the dead!

General Commander Daichi Goro:
All those who oppose the rules of life and death!

General Commander Fedor Khrushchev:
The ones who tasted the blood and refuse to drink anything else besides the blood of those who oppose them.

General James Michaels:
The people who raise their hands at kids and slay them for the fun of it!

General Mihail Benington:
For all those who label others with the word "different" and torture them since its fun for them to do so!

General Richard Chambers:
And for all those who consider greed as something good!

General Commander Denislav Hristov:
You see now General Alice Kirilenko, the true meaning of the world full of sinners. A world we tend to pure with this virus. And right now you are the only thing that stands in the way of the purge and the rebirth of humanity so pure that even God cannot imagine!

General Alice:
You are all mad ……………


In that moment she is hit on the neck and she falls down unconscious. Then the soldiers take her out of the room and close the door behind them. After that the generals again start to watch what is happening in the world and they are having a feast.

Bulgaria/Serbian border/Twilight/Time of the day 20:30

Everything is in fire and the living die while huge herds of the zombies march through the military base and go straight into Serbia. The soldiers try to contain as much as possible but they can't do anything. Slowly the gunshots stop and there is no sign of living anywhere. One soldier has hid himself in the watchtower. His name is Joel Midnight and he is trained in being a sniper shooter. He is the only one left alive from the massacre. The zombies move fast through the border and soon there are only few who still cross the border. Joel sees that and he comes down from the watch tower and starts to walk slowly through the rubbles and the dead bodies of the fallen soldiers. He reaches a military vehicle. A few zombies walk pass the vehicle and Joel hides so they won't see him. As soon as they leave he starts the engine and drives away.

The roads are empty, the only thing on them are the bodies of the dead people and the zombies. Every road is bathed in the blood of thousands. Joel stops and takes out the map to see where he is, but the map is in Bulgarian.

Joel:
Is there anything written in English in this God forsaken country!?

He throws the map out of the window and drives away.

As he drives he encounters another huge herd that is walking towards the border. In order to avoid them he takes a sharp turn to the right and ends up in the nearby forest. He tries to avoid the trees and for some time he does that but the forest starts to get more and more crowded with trees. He stops and searches the vehicle for any weapons and other provisions. He finds one 9-milimeter gun and five magazines and starts to run deeper and deeper into the forest. The zombies reach the vehicle but there is no sign of Joel. There is a huge scream nearby so the zombies change course and head towards where the scream came.

Joel runs through the forest and soon the sunlight starts to fade away and it becomes very dark. Joel takes out a flashlight and the gun. He starts to walk slowly. Only the sound of birds is heard, everything else is in silence. He stops by a tree to rest in that moment an arrow hits the tree and Joel falls on his back and takes out his gun. In front of him there is a boy standing.

The boy:
Have you been bitten?

Joel:
What?

The boy:
I asked you have you been bitten by them!?

Joel:
No I haven't!

The boy:
Show me, take off your clothes and show me that you have not been bitten.

Joel:
Look kid if I have been bitten I would have already turned into one of them, so there is no point in showing you.

The boy:
There is. My dad was bitten and it took him five or six hours before he turned to one of the living dead things you call zombies.

Joel:
How can that be, it took moments for some of my friends to turn after they've been bitten.

The boy:
Look mister I don't care just take off your fucking clothes and show me that you weren't bitten by them, ok?


Joel puts the gun down and he starts to take off his clothes and in short time he is naked.

The boy:
Now turn around.

Joel turns around with his hands up in the air.

The boy:
You can dress now and come with me.


After that they start to walk through the woods deeper and deeper.

The boy:
Sorry for making you take off your clothes but I don't want to take any chances. And by the way my name is Mark.

Joel:
It's alright Mark, but why didn't you believe me when I told you that I wasn't bitten.

Mark:
I don't trust anyone since what happened and I'd do anything to protect the people I love.

Joel:
So where are we going?

Mark:
There is a cabin not far from here and it's relevantly safe from those creatures.

Joel:
And what made you think it's safe?

Mark:
It's deep inside the woods and those creatures can't hear us and they have no interest in coming in the woods if there isn't something to eat.

Joel:
Good thinking, and by the way how old are you.

Mark:
Turned 17 last month.

Joel:
Seventeen and you shoot so well.

Mark:
My dad was a hunter and also in the navy once and he thought me how the shoot.

Joel:
He must have been a great man.

Mark:
He was.


They reach the cabin and there are no lights.

Joel:
Why aren't there any lights?

Mark:
I told them to not use light until I come back. And one thing you should know: Do not speak of my father in front of my little brother, he gets depressed and I don't want to see him like that, got it!

Joel:
Yeah.


They enter the cabin.

Mark:
Mom I am back safe no biting on me.


Then a guy comes out of the darkness with a shoot gun.

Guy:
Mark who is that man with you, has he been bitten?

Mark:
It's alright Frank he is clean I checked him for bite marks.


Frank walks slowly towards Joel and he is watching him.

Frank:
What's your name boy?

Joel:
My name is Joel Midnight former soldier of the USA army deployed several months here.

Frank:
A soldier, you will come in use. Good job on finding him Mark.
[he puts the gun down]
It's alright you can come out now and bring light we have a guest.


Four women come out with three children two boys and one girl.


Bulgaria/Night/In the woods/In the cabin/Time of the day 22:39

All of the people have gathered around the fire place and they are eating some soup and the radio is on. Its static noise but from time to time it starts to broadcast on the emergency frequency. Next to Mark a young boy is sitting and his is holding Mark's right arm and he snuggles in him also their mother is besides them. In the middle is Frank with his wife and two kids and next to the fire place there is one pretty woman.
Joel:
So Mark that's your little bro you want to protect.

Mark:
Yeah, he is my pride and don't worry for him not speaking now he is just little shy, he'll come by when he gets to know you more.

Joel:
So what's your name little dude.


The small boy face goes all red and hides behind his brother who smiles. One of the women replies:

Judy:
His name is Terrance Love and I am their mother Judy "Vladislalovich" Love.

Joel:
Nice to meet you ma'am, you've raised some good boys.

Frank:
Since we started in the introduction thing it would be shame of not all of us introduce ourselves to you, my name is Frank Damon forty-three year old male former FBI agent. And next to me are my wife Dane Damon and these two are our kids. Brad and Milla Damon who are twins. And the girl to the fire place ……

Girl:
[with Russian accent]
I can introduce myself if you don't mind Frank!

Frank:
I am sorry ma'am.

Girl:
My name is Vanessa Kratchnik, age twenty-four and former miss Russia, if you want my autograph you will have to pay for it.

Joel:
Alright, nice to meet you all I am Joel Midnight as said former soldier of the USA army age twenty-one and currently free from all duties.

Judy:
So do you have any idea what happened?

Joel:
No ma'am we were told to stay at the border and fight till our last breath, nothing more. But from what I heard this has something to do with the "Amber" company, but that is just speculations.

Frank:
Who knows it might be actually they who caused all of this.

Mark:
Hey Frank how our the cars and weapons?

Frank:
They are ready.

Mark:
Alright people I think it's time to vote. Where should we head now?

Joel:
Are you going to move from here?

Frank:
Yes, no matter that we don't make any noises those creatures are still drawn to us by our smell so we have to move on and this forest is at the edge of the border and before you came back we had to kill five of them. Soon this place won't be safe to stay.

Mark:
Any ideas where we should go?

It becomes silence.


Joel:
If we apply logical thinking it would be best of we move towards the centre of the country since all of the zombies are walking towards the borders, so that means that the centre of the country will have less of them and we can gather provisions.

Frank:
That is a good idea, what do you think.


Mark stands and goes to one of the bags and takes out a map and goes back to the rest. He opens the map and this time it has English writing on it.

Mark:
We are around the capital "Sofia", If we want to get food and stuff we should try a large city since I don't think there would be a point stopping in the small villages along the road if not necessary. So I suggest that we go to this town called "Plovdiv" who is just 150 kilometers from here. It would take us no more than two hours at max to reach it. What do you say?

Frank:
I am for it.

Joel:
If what I said is true then there won't be more a hundred of them.

Judy:
Alright.

Vanessa:
You all have lost your minds.

Mark:
It's decided we are going by the first light of the dawn. Now all go to bed I take the night watch.


All of them start to prepare the bags and to clean after the dinner. Mark takes out a sniper rifle and walks out side.

Terrance:
Be safe bro.

Mark:
Don't worry about me, try to get some sleep.


Mark leaves the cabin.

Bulgaria/Night/In the woods/Outside the cabin/Time of the day 03:19

There is no sound it's all quiet and Mark is alone watching. Joel comes out.

Mark:
Why aren't you sleeping?

Joel:
I can't sleep while you are on a post duty. Frank is older than you, shouldn't he be in charge of the group.

Mark:
It is true that Frank is older and has more experience than me but he worries for his family and thus so he can't make hard decisions and he hasn't seen enough zombie movies to know what to do.

Joel:
I see your point, so do you want me to help with anything.

Mark:
One thing if you see someone get bitten kill on sight, don't hold back that's our only rule and we all have to come at peace with that.

Joel:
A harsh rule.

Mark:
We all have seen what happens when you get bitten and none of us wants to be zombie so we decided it would be the best if we were to die.

Joel:
This world has turned into a shit hole making brothers kill each other like that.

Mark:
I don't have feelings anymore, I killed my papa in order to save my brother, I don't want to see him turn like dad and for that reason I will kill him.

Mark starts to cry.

Joel:
I am sorry for everything.
