Christmas Dream


Snowflakes fall out side the frost window.
Trees covered in white grace and beauty.
Cracking of wood echoes across the frozen land!
A peaceful night in the forest!

Inside the cabin the soft fire burns in the chimney.
A dog is sleeping peacefully on the couch!
The Christmas tree is covered in all sorts of decorations.
Lights flash on it in all sorts of colorful softness.

Milk and cookies are left on a table next to the Christmas tree.
They will act as a gift to a very special guest.
Guest who is dressed in red clothes and has a long white beard!
Who gives gifts to all the boys and girls of the world.

In a room, peacefully a small girl is sleeping.
And she is dreaming.
A dream full of colors and magic!
A dream in which she is with Santa and they ride magic sleigh!

All the deer's along Rudolf are in front of them.
Dashing through the snow the red nose of Rudolf shines the way.
A way of joy, magic and love!
But that dream is disrupted by the noises coming form downstairs.

The girl walks out of the room carrying in her arms a drawing.
She goes downstairs to see the maker of the noises.
She enters the room.
With her little sparkling eyes she sees a chubby man dressed in red.

It's Santa.
He is leaving gifts under the Christmas tree and he is drinking the milk.
The dog wakes up and sees the good old man who is standing in front of him.
Giving him a new chew toy!

The dog licks the old and tired man's left arm and goes back to sleep.
As Santa is about to leave the girl walks to him and gives him a drawing.
Santa looks at it and starts to cry.
On that drawing Santa is with that girl and above them is written:

"I believe in you dear Santa Claus"

Then Santa takes out a small gift from the sack of gifts.
The little girl opens it and sees a drawing.
A drawing the same as the one she gave Santa.
But this time it's written.

"I believe in you Hailey"

The little girl starts to cry and hugs Santa.
She is very sleepy and starts to fall back to sleep.
Santa picks her and puts her next to the doggy.
The girl snuggles in him as Santa is about to leave the cabin.

A night of overwhelming emotions!
