299 (who?)
Tale Of The Forefathers

The sun rises to shine over the green lands.
The warm light revives the sleeping plants.
All that is now sleeping starts to wake up.
The birds start to sing the morning songs of joy.

The forest animals start to come out of the dents.
The air is filled with the smell of fresh grass.
All starts to come to life as spring arrives.
The forest now is full of life.

Young ones now learn how to live in this world.
Parents guide them through the unknown.
Their footsteps are at first unsure but later they become full of life.
The voice of happiness of the young ones now echoes across the lands.

A father wolf shows his son the lands.
The young wolf gazes upon the endless green field.
All the animals run through the grass with grace.
The young ones follow their parents step by step.

Around the river all the forest animals are gathered.
They enjoy the fresh water of the mountains.
The youngsters are afraid of their reflection in the water.
A feast is happening around the river.

Now the last snow melts away and gives way for the warm.
Everything lives under the warm lights of the sun.
Once asleep and now reawakened.
The spirit of the forefathers lives inside the new generation.

Their pride now rests in the soul and hears of all the young ones.
It's said that old die to make way for the young ones.
But that isn't true at all, they never died.
Their hearts, souls, pride lives in each and every new creature.

They never left this world, they are right besides us.
Giving us the strength and will to move one.
They watch us over and guide us to the right path.
That's their role as our forefathers!
A little something I wrote after listening to some very cool songs :):):):)

This poem has kinda two meanings :D:D:D:D:D:D

One of them is the reawakening of all those animals who are sleeping and also the arrival of the spring :)

And the second meaning is the tale of our forefathers. How they watch over us, guide us and help us.

Little note: I think this is my best poem ever written. I don't care if doesn't get many views or faves. For me its the best thing that I have ever written!
